“If you don’t know your HISTORY,
you don’t know what you’re talking about!”

Barbara has been a life long educator in the fields of early childhood and special education, having spent many years as a teacher, principal, and school district administrator. Retirement has brought with it the opportunity to return to her love of history.

Barbara currently writes historical articles under her banner “Passages” for The Columbia Insider, and is writing her own award-winning children’s book series Little Miss HISTORY Travels to.
